Elite Robots Showcases Optical-Module Plug-In/Unplug Testing at Its Booth

In Hall H3 of the World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, more than 100 robot models were on display, with embodied robots emerging as one of the exhibition’s biggest attractions. Having just been included in the 2026 Hurun Global Unicorn List, Elite Robots used robots at WAIC to redefine “new quality productive forces.”

At the exhibition, Elite Robots presented a complete real-world process demonstration of optical-module plug-in/unplug testing. Visitors could directly observe how its robots perform precision tasks such as optical-component alignment and fiber-optic connector insertion and removal with sub-millimeter accuracy.

Chen Yu, an algorithm specialist in Elite Robots’ Embodied Intelligence Division, told reporters that the technological sophistication of this application does not lie in isolated point-level accuracy. Rather, Elite has achieved coverage across the full process chain of optical modules, from components and printed circuit boards (PCBs) to packaging and testing. It has developed end-to-end autonomous capabilities for automated production lines, spanning precision assembly through inspection.

Through collaborations with leading companies in optical communications and servers, Elite is no longer delivering only individual pieces of equipment; it is delivering replicable process know-how and production-line-level solutions.
