XIAOYIN ZHANG
FOUNDING PARTNER
Xiaoyin was born and raised in an academic family in Beijing. She graduated from University of Washington in Seattle with a BA in Finance and Accounting and MIT Sloan School Management with a MBA.
Prior to founding Lavender Hill Capital Partners, Xiaoyin spent 20 years in technology investment banking in the US and China. She was the Head of China TMT Investment Banking for Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong and the first female partner from the Mainland China. Xiaoyin started her investment career after retiring from Goldman Sachs as a partner in 2017.
During her tenure at Goldman, she built a dominant China TMT banking franchise by taking the supermajority of the best Chinese TMT companies public overseas. Her major clients include Tencent, Baidu, Alibaba, Sina, Weibo, Netease, Ctrip, New Oriental, Qunar, Youku, Vipshop, Autohome, Dianping, and Meituan.
HENRY JIANG
SENIOR ANALYST
Henry Jiang received a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford and a BA in Economics from New York University Abu Dhabi.
Henry joined Lavender Hill Capital Partners as a senior analyst in 2023. Previously he worked at China Renaissance Securities (Hong Kong) in investment banking. At China Renaissance, he worked on the private financing and IPO of innovative Chinese technology and technology-enabled enterprises including AInnovation (2121.HK), ZKH Group (NYSE: ZKH) and Autostreets. Prior to China Renaissance, he had extensive internship experiences at leading financial firms including Morgan Stanley and Macquarie Capital in investment banking and Primavera Capital Group in private equity.
ETHAN ZHOU
PRINCIPAL
Ethan Zhou received his bachelor degree in engineering and finance from Wuhan University.
Ethan joined Lavender Hill Capital Partners in 2020. Ethan has an extensive startup experience prior to joining Lavender Hill Capital Partners.
He spent four years in the Fintech space with a Chinese leading third-party payment company and a Chinese top online lending facilitation platform. He focused on business analysis, growth strategies and equity financing. Prior to that, Ethan had five years startup experience in an online auto service company, which he co-founded. He was in charge of sales and marketing, and equity financing.
LESLIE CHEN
ANALYST
Leslie Chen graduated from the LSE for Global MSc in Management and University of Liverpool for BA in Accounting.
Leslie joined Lavender Hill Capital Partners as an analyst upon his graduation in 2022. He has substantial internship experience in leading growth-stage investment and investment banking firms such as Bytedance Investment Division, Huatai United Securities etc.
JEANETTE WONG
OPERATIONS
Jeanette studied at Renmin University of China in Beijing for her undergraduate degree. She is a Certified FRM.
Prior to joining Lavender Hill Capital Partners in 2019, Jeanette worked as an Operations Associate in Asset Management at Valuable Capital Limited and focused on fund operations in hedge fund and PE fund. Previously, Jeanette had 5 years of accounting experience in a commodity trading company in Hong Kong.

Mr. Yuen is currently the senior portfolio manager in FWD to manage its alternative investment portfolio and serves as a member of the advisory boards in various well-known private equity and venture capital funds.
Before joining FWD, Mr. Yuen worked as a portfolio manager at YF Life (previously known as MassMutual Asia), and Yunfeng Group.
